Neodymium Magnet

Neodymium magnet, is the most widely used type of rare earth magnet,also known as the  permanent magnet which have strongest magnetism in normal working temperature,is made from an alloy of neodymium,iron, boron to form a steady column structure that has arrayed in same direction. Neodymium magnets are the most commercial permanent magnet and have replaced other permanent magnet in many industrial areas.

The structure of ndfeb magnet is very vulnerable when meet oxygen, iron element and separate from Nd2Fe14B and become Fe2O3 that structure is arrayed randomly which will cause the magnetic field become directionless and decline the magnetism. Protective coatings has been added to the neodymium magnet to make it more commercial.Usually,many of the coating are through electrical plating means. coatings like Nickel,Zinc,NiCuNi, Epoxy, Gold, color glaze will be the surface coating treatment.

 Main Manufacturing process of ndfeb magnets

1.Pressing ndfeb garins: pressing process needed to operate in strong magnetic environment.

2.Sintering of ndfeb blocks: sintering process usually in a vacuum furnace at 800~1400 ℃ environment .

3.Wire cut: ndfeb magnet usually are in small and different sizes, cutting process need operated on wire cut machine controlled by automatic system.

4.Grinding of Ndfeb magnet: Operate on artificial diamond polish tool.

 5.Plating of ndfeb: Plating need a lot of poisonous and deadly chemicals ,only expert plating factory could get the business license from China government. Thus we usually send for plating company,

 6.Magnetization of NdFeB,  north pole magnetization facility and south magnetization facility are both needed.(2~30 Koe)

 Application

Neodymium magnet have a widely application area on modern electric and electronic product,computer,earphone,motor,alternator, sensor, MRI... By using the neodymium magnet , product size will smaller and function will better. Neodymium magnet also be called as ndfeb magnet,they could catch iron steel, hence neodymium magnet could be designed as a magnetic catcher for catching things with ferromagnetic surface.

 The curie temperature for the neodymium magnet is from 305~330 ℃.pending on the material grade , working temperature for different neodymium magnets are also different.

Operating the magnet at highest working temperature will decreasing its` magnetism 8~13 % each time of use, thus please carefully with product designs.

The great magnetic force might cause injure to body parts pinched two magnets or with iron steel.Big magnet would broke bones,do not swallow magnets,or using magnet two close to eyes., it will cause injure.The huge magnetic field of neodymium magnet have hazard to electronic product like watch,credit card,floppy disc, medical equipment,phone...
