The round base magnets are made of neodymium magnets embeded with steel casings The Steel casing concentrates the magnetic force to one surface,thus round base magnet has very strong of magnetic force. Neodymium magnet is fragile and may break,however,embed magnet with a steel casing will solve this.
Use round base magnets on a curved surface and they still hold pretty strong. On a flat surface it is amazing. You can add a eye bolt for hold cargo net.
